Despite veering badly right, unseating another jockey and losing many lengths at the start, Razzo Italiano recovered to win with his ears pricked at Southwell today.
He seemed to really enjoy the testing conditions and was given a lovely ride by Tabitha Worsley. Who gave me my most memorable days racing when partnering family pet and racehorse Uisce Ur to win at Wetherby at odds of 33/1. Nibbled at 50/1 the night before.
He becomes stallion Frammassone’s first winner since his move to the beautiful Batsford Stud. Hopefully the first of many.
