Purchasing of flat horses – ‘Marcus attends the majority of the flat sales across Europe, sourcing quality flat horses, either as yearlings or foals or flat horses already in training. Many flat horses are also purchased privately for international clients, including American, Australian and Irish.
We attend all the major yearling sales in England, Ireland and France and have bought yearlings for a wide range of clients.
Marcus Collie Bloodstock has worked with clients in sourcing both Flat foals to resell as yearlings and National Hunt foals to resell as stores.
National Hunt and Flat foals have also been sourced for owners to race for enjoyment or for racing and reselling commercially.

Marcus Collie Bloodstock has a number of breeders and stud owners who he works closely with to maximise the success of their stock. From mating plans to regular visits to see their young-stock at studs. Strategies are put in place to maximise success whether the client is breeding to race or to sell into the commercial market.
Syndicate and sole investment opportunists are available for both National Hunt and Flat interests.
We currently run a variety of syndicates for both codes they include – racing to resell, pin hooking flat foals to resell as yearlings, pin hooking National Hunt foals to resell as stores and stores to resell as winning, placed pointers.
We professionally advise our investors to minimise risk and maximise reward.
Marcus has sourced Stallions from abroad to stand in England. Frammassone is in his fourth season standing in the UK at Batsford Stud.
When a new Stallion deal is secured at a Stud Farm, we also broker shares in stallions for both breeders who wish to use the stallion for their mares and for investors who buy the shares to make money.
Marcus is regularly asked for valuations of racing and breeding stock for owners, trainers and breeders whether for insurance purposes or commercial purposes.
