Two unbeaten purchases fought out the finish in the 3 mile novice hurdle at Hereford, with Grove Road coming out on top over Mr Vango.
They pulled 9 lengths clear of the 3rd horse. Grove Road is likely now to be stepped up in class, with the River Don being the next target. He’s now 3 from 3 under rules. I would think Mr Vango will tread a similar path.
